The waterproof ORTLIEB Handlebar-Pack is an indispensable item when you’re on a bikepacking tour in the great outdoors. This Handlebar-Pack offers a payload of either 15 liters for your sleeping bag and pad. It also helps to secure a balanced distribution of gear and weight across your bike. Thanks to the roll closures at both ends, you can always gain quick access to your gear. Compression belts on the outside enable the stowing and attachment of additional equipment. Moreover, the Handlebar-Pack comes with four hooks to enable the attachment of an ORTLIEB Accessory-Pack for additional storage space. Consisting of spacers and two strong Velcro straps, the mounting system ensures secure attachment to any handlebar type, including carbon handlebars. The pack’s stiffened interior and head-tube attachment offer additional stability – in any terrain. Up until now we have supplied handlebar bags together with our standard bracket, but now you can order your individual mounting set separately so you can choose a mounting system that suits your needs. Eliminating the need for a bulky front rack, the Pack fastens to handlebars with a reinforced attachment system that adds stability while improving handling and preventing abrasion. Dual roll-top closure keeps the contents secure, while allowing flexible packing capacity. A hands-free air release vent makes compressing the Pack hassle-free, while welded seams ensure that contents stay dry in all conditions. Materials The Expedition Handlebar Pack is cut from a three-layer laminate fabric that was developed specifically for Apidura. The material is lightweight, and is highly resistant to tears and abrasion. Notably, it’s welded together at the seams, creating a watertight seal that ensures complete waterproofing. The Handlebar Pack’s attachment points are reinforced with Hypalon, a rubberized nylon used to provide extra protection against friction and abrasion. For the straps, we’ve chosen Woojin buckles for their strength and reliability.

The Handlebar Bag provides easy-access storage and works just as well on urban missions as on gravel escapes. Slide it onto the handlebar frame and fasten it with straps (note that the handlebar frame is not included and must be bought separately for the handlebar bag to function on a bike).
