Suspension Tuning

First Year Maintenance Check

When you purchase a bike from Comox Bike Co, know we have your back. We will cover the cost of standard tune up style maintenance for the first year. This also covers fit adjustments, suspension tuning and cleaning. This does not cover wear and tear maintenance like wearing out drivetrain components, brake pads, sealant top ups and suspension service.

Suspension Service

If your fork, shock, or dropper hasn’t been serviced in 50+ hours, you’re losing performance and adding unnecessary wear. Regular suspension service keeps your bike smooth, responsive, and running longer. Our techs clean, inspect, replace seals and bushings, and refresh your suspension back to factory feel.

Fork Lowers Service

Regular lower fork services keep your bike feeling smooth and performing its best. We’ll strip it down, clean and inspect everything, replace worn seals and bushings, and re-lube for fresh, responsive performance.

Shock Air Can Service

When your shock needs service, you lose traction, control, and confidence. We tear it down, clean and inspect all parts, refresh seals and bushings, and re-lubricate for buttery-smooth, predictable performance on any trail.

Pivot Bearing Service

Dual-suspension bikes need regular linkage service to stay smooth and quiet. Notchiness, creaks, or fading traction are all signs your bearings may be worn—even if they seem fine.

We’ll check your linkage anytime you’re in for fork or shock service. Original Santa Cruz and Specialized (2025+) owners get frame-bearing parts covered under warranty.

Warranty Processing

We have an in-house warranty specialist who handles all warranty claims for products purchased not just from our shop, but most, including bikes, parts, and accessories. If something fails, we’ll help you navigate the process and get it sorted quickly.

E-BIKE SERVICE NOTE

For safety reasons and in accordance with our insurance policy, we ask that all non Specialized, Santa Cruz, and Kona e-bike batteries be removed before leaving your bike with us. Bikes with non-removable batteries must be collected promptly after repair, as we are unable to store them overnight inside the building. If not retrieved by the end of the day, they will be secured outside overnight.

Please contact us if you have any service related questions.
